Choose lash extension glue by three factors: drying (bonding) speed, the conditions in your treatment room (humidity and temperature) and your working pace. Beginners do best with a 1–2 second glue such as ONRIAL Houston. Experienced lash artists can use fast 0.2–1 second glues: Fiji for a wide humidity range and Monaco for warm rooms and the longest retention.

All three glues are ethyl cyanoacrylate based, deep black and made in South Korea. See all glues in one place: lash extension glue.
Choosing glue by bonding speed
Bonding speed is the time the glue needs to set after the extension touches the natural lash.
- 1–2 seconds (Houston) — leaves time to adjust and place each lash precisely. Good after a course, for a calm pace, classic sets and 2D.
- 0.5 seconds (Monaco) — fast fixation for experienced lash artists who place the lash on the first touch.
- 0.2–1 second (Fiji) — the fastest of the three. Saves time on volume work but needs a steady hand: once the lash touches, there is almost no time to adjust it.
If you are unsure between two speeds, take the slower glue. A fast glue in an unsure hand often leads to stickies and uneven fans.
Choosing glue by humidity and temperature
Cyanoacrylate glue cures using moisture from the air. The higher the humidity, the faster it cures; the drier the air, the slower. That is why the same glue behaves differently in different rooms.
In Israel this is especially noticeable: on the coast (Nahariya, Haifa, Tel Aviv) the summer air is humid, Jerusalem and the Negev are dry, and air conditioning dries the room even more.
- Humidity changes during the day or season — Fiji: the widest working range, 35–90% and 15–28°C.
- Warm room, moderate or low humidity — Monaco: designed for 20–28°C and 35–65%.
- Stable climate (air conditioning + humidifier) — Houston: works best at 45–65% and 20–24°C.
Tip: keep a hygrometer in your treatment room. If humidity falls outside the glue's range, bonding speed and retention will differ from the stated values.
Which ONRIAL glue suits whom
ONRIAL Houston — for beginners and a calm pace
1–2 second bonding, 6–7 weeks retention, minimal fumes, liquid consistency. A good first glue after a course and a backup for challenging clients when you need more time per lash. Works best in an air-conditioned room with stable humidity. View Houston →
ONRIAL Monaco — for experienced lash artists and long retention
0.5 second bonding and the longest retention of the three — 8–9 weeks. The manufacturer describes it as a thermophilic glue: it works steadily in summer and in warm rooms, and the drop stays liquid for a long time. Working conditions: 20–28°C and 35–65%. View Monaco →
ONRIAL Fiji — for fast work and changing humidity
0.2–1 second bonding, 7–8 weeks retention, minimal fumes, a flexible bond after drying. Its main advantage is the wide range of conditions: 35–90% humidity and 15–28°C. Convenient for lash artists who work in several rooms or without a humidifier. View Fiji →
What to use together with the glue
Retention depends not only on the glue but also on lash prep and working conditions.
- ONRIAL Marine Collagen lash cleanser — cleans natural lashes before the treatment.
- ONRIAL primer — opens the lash cuticle for a strong bond. The primer reacts with the glue, so the manufacturer recommends using both from the same brand.
- ONRIAL glue booster — speeds up glue curing and reduces the risk of white residue (blooming) on the bonds. Apply only to the extensions, in a small amount.
- ONRIAL glue fume neutralizing gel (Anti-Allergy) — placed next to the glue drop to absorb fumes during the treatment.
- ONRIAL Magic Coating sealant — the final step after the extensions are applied.
All preparations are in lash extension preparations.
How to store lash extension glue
- Shake the bottle well before work.
- Wipe the nozzle after every drop and close the cap tightly.
- Store the glue in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Use the glue within 2 months after opening. If you don't work with it every day, choose the 3 ml bottle so it doesn't thicken before you finish it.
Frequently asked questions
Which ONRIAL glue should a beginner choose?
Houston. Its 1–2 second bonding speed gives enough time to place each lash precisely, and the manufacturer recommends it for beginner and practicing lash artists. As your pace grows, you can move to Fiji or Monaco.
Which glue has the longest retention?
According to the manufacturer, Monaco — 8–9 weeks. Fiji gives 7–8 weeks and Houston 6–7 weeks. Real retention depends on lash prep, room humidity and client aftercare.
Why does the glue set faster or slower than stated?
Because of humidity and temperature. In high humidity cyanoacrylate cures faster; in dry air (for example, under air conditioning) it cures slower. Check the humidity with a hygrometer and choose a glue whose working range matches your room.
How long can an opened glue be used?
Up to 2 months after opening with correct storage: the bottle tightly closed, in a cool, dry place. Sealed, Fiji and Houston keep for 8 months, Monaco for 6–8 months.
Should the primer be the same brand as the glue?
It is recommended. The primer reacts directly with the glue, so the manufacturer recommends using glue and primer from one brand — for example, ONRIAL primer with ONRIAL glues.
Why does white residue appear on the bonds?
Usually because the glue cures too slowly: while drying, it absorbs moisture and volatile substances from the air. A glue booster helps by shortening the curing time.
How much is glue delivery in Israel?
₪35, free on orders from ₪500. In Haifa, the Krayot, Akko, Nahariya and nearby — free from ₪200. Delivery takes 1–4 business days. Details on the shipping and payment page.
