Why a lash artist needs two tweezers
You work with both hands at the same time:
- Straight tweezers in one hand separate one natural lash from its neighbors — this is isolation. Good isolation prevents stickies, which make lashes grow out unevenly and fall out sooner.
- Curved tweezers in the other hand pick up the extension (or form a fan), dip it in glue and place it on the isolated natural lash.
So a starter set is straight tweezers plus one curved pair that suits your technique.
Which curved tweezers to choose
For classic (1:1) and all-round work — Mini-L 90
Mini-L 90 suits many extension techniques: it picks up and separates lashes precisely and forms fans easily. The tips close softly without much force, so your hand gets less tired over a long working day. The model has a heat-resistant coating.

How to check tweezers
- The tips close evenly, with no gap or misalignment — otherwise the lash will slip.
- Grip along the whole working tip: the tweezers should hold a single thin lash securely.
- Comfort in the hand: the tips close without effort and the tweezers don't slip from your fingers.
- Working area for fans on volume tweezers: enough space to form and hold a fan.
Tweezer care and sterilization
- Sterilize the tweezers after every client.

- Start working with the tweezers only after they have fully cooled down.
